Sunshine Therapy

Late September I received news that my great Aunt Betty had passed away. She was a wonderful woman - another one in the strong line of Martin sisters. I have great memories of spending a solo summer with her - staying at her house for Thanksgiving and New Years holidays.

We celebrated her life and influence the end of October which also meant a much-needed trip to sunshine and family.

Sweet & Sassy Eileen!

She wanted us to match my shirt!

And an incredible treat to see these two and celebrate their new home!
So much love.

And this precious pup is Millie.
I love her.
I tried to put her in my suitcase,

Oh sweet Orange County you did my soul so much good.

Weekly Pictures :: A Restcation

June and July hit with mach speed.
So I took August by the horns and wrestled it into a Restcation.
For at least a few days.
August, you're looking lovely.

[07.19.2013]

Happy Wedding Day Jeeni & Chris!

Just leaving the Happiest Cows on Earth (which...was NUTS, and there were no cows). However, Tillamook cheese and ice cream can't be beat. And neither can this view...Hwy 101 well worth the {8+ hour} trip back home. Oofda.

The disappearing city...

[07.23.2013]
On the commute home...spotted a seal (which I named Sammy), and a fuzzy baby seagull (which I named Fuzzywinkle) and then these beauties with their momma wandered through the backyard. I see them the most and they are still unnamed...suggestions?

[07.24.2013]
Good morning, gorgeous! No fog horns needed today.

[07.25.2013]
A surprise spotting, Nox still unsure about this whole wildlife business.
