[Week 32]: A Quiet Respite

[ 08.02.2013]
This look always worries me...it usually means he has spotted a creepy crawly of some sort!

So the awesome neighbors knocked on the door and gave us two just-caught dungeness crab.
(Kurt had to cook them...because...well, if it was up to me I couldn't do it and we'd have 2 new pet crabs)
Oh my - what.a.treat!

Sat outside in the warm sunshine with Nick catching up on Narnia together. It was wonderful (minus the yellow-jackets...they can all jump off a cliff, but that's just my opinion).

A sunny Monday morning

I love this thing! I don't know what it is, but seeing it every morning makes me smile.

My ideal evening.

Mom sent me this picture that she took across from my old elementary school where the Black Forest Fire ravaged. After cutting down so many burned and dead trees a citizen went in and began carving the naked, blackened stumps. Incredible the juxtaposed beauty in an area so tired of ash. Thank you, kind soul, for sharing your talent.
