And this is when we usher in August.
(August?!?)
[07.26.2013]
Last day I had my commuting buddy...(sigh)
[07.27.2013]
Budget...done.
Farmer's Market...money, gone.
Delicious Tapas from Demitris...devoured.
Extra ferry rides because we forgot what we bought at the Farmer's Market...check.
Another sunny warm day in the PNW...yes please.
(P.S. Nick rolled his eyes...because OF COURSE I bought a new bag!!)
[07.28.2013]
Anderson Family Breakfast at The Oak Table.
Seriously delicious food.
Super happy people working there.
Epic.
Said farewell to Laura & Todd, Gpa & Cassie - Bon Voyage! :)
Went through the weekend and realized didn't take any pictures with the family...hmm, not so epic. Guess they all just have to come back and visit again.

This made me giggle.
Another crazy thing my in-laws have been roped into doing. Lisa's such a good sport!!
Trying to collect money from all the neighbors so they can water / grate / spray the gravel road to solve the "dust" problem.
I am inwardly cringing as I grew up on a dirt road in dry, dry Colorado. Dust is part of the scenery.
It rains here - 10 months? of the year. Dust really can't be that big of a deal, but Lisa's great and very convincing and the neighbors all seem on board! So, what do I know?!
[07.30.2013]
I was frustrated with my little phone camera for not capturing the absolutely magic of this moment...
The low clouds appeared to form a thick curtain of which we were backstage - but oh, on the other side was a stunning golden light show. The bright rays streaming down and glittering on the water.
It was lovely.

See that faint thing out there? That outline that you might think is a smudge and rub your eyes to see if it clears up?
That would be the Ferry Dock.
And the bustling city and trains and beach-front that is supposed to be there? All lost in the thick dense clouds. A little eerie (Harper's Island, anyone?!), and yet, also so beautiful.
[08.01.2013]
Welcome to my 'office'...just waiting for the ferry.
