We're officially moved in.
And everything is unpacked.
And [nearly] everything is hung up and put in its place.
This week has been so exhausting - Nick and I are figuring out the [two.and.a.half.hour] commute [one-way]. It will definitely take some getting used to, but for now it just feels fabulous that it's Saturday and no moving list to work on! Time for some tea and a book.
(And I promise eventually I'll show you the new digs!)
I call this game: 'Where's Roscoe?'

"Bless you my child"
Don't let this cute picture fool you...they screamed their heads off on the ride to the ferry. But, seem to be adjusting just fine now.
After six hours of cleaning (and lots of help moving everything Saturday) - we bid farewell to #122, it was good to us our first two years of marriage!

A sweet "Welcome Home" treat from Lisa!

6:00am sure is pretty around here...

Another sunrise meets our sleepy eyes.

A morning treat - red, white and blue sprinkles?!
Spent today unpacking the rest of the boxes and settling in which was SO needed! We attempted to watch the firework show but a) all of us were so exhausted we could barely keep our eyes open (not to mention a 5:00am wake-up call was beckoning) and b) there were trees in the way so we didn't see the "show"; however, the neighbors did a pretty impressive display (though I will admit it was a bit terrifying).
Happy Birthday America!
So incredibly thankful for this land of the free and especially thankful for all of the brave who strive to keep it that way.
