[Week 26]: Boxes...and more boxes.

Well, what would this tumultuous month be without a BIG move to wrap it all up?! 

This week has consisted of packing and packing and packing (I hate packing). 

And LOTS of Friends episodes. 

And some Downton Abbey Season 3 (as a treat for PACKING AND PACKING).

And appointments.

And to-dos.

And I really really REALLY don't love moving (not to mention I struggle in general with change). So I'm exhausted and we kind of have all the "heavy-lifting" yet this weekend. Oy!

Hence, all these pictures were taken on my phone because I have very little idea of where anything else is at the moment...

Nick and I walked to Ballard to meet some friends for happy hour and stopped by the Locks on the way...there were FISH! Real live salmon making their way (up? down? every fish seemed confused...) the fish ladder! I'd never seen that before...and this picture made me laugh - I just imagine that one fish 

screaming: "MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!"

This should really be a picture of our work kitchen at the moment which could pass as a tropical jungle. We have an abundance of flowers, ferns, lilies etc. Lots of conferences this week! Even though the picture turned out blurry - I love these little flowers! Reminds me of sherbet.

This is what is left of the beautiful bread braid Nick made yesterday. (Granted...Nick made it at 3:30AM because he couldn't sleep and got me up at 6:00 to enjoy it with him because he was excited and couldn't wait anymore. I forgave him...because is was soooo good! And French Press was involved)

It is a balmy 79.9 degrees in the office. And I couldn't be happier! (Anyone who knows me will know that there isn't one ounce of sarcasm there...seriously, I love love love being this warm!)
