SPU has a great home-away-from-home out on Whidbey Island at Camp Casey.
We got to spend the weekend in the Faculty House - a great old home just a quick walk from the beach.
Though we thought the house might blow over the first night as wind screamed all around and the windows rattled all night long we survived for a much needed weekend retreat.
2,000 pieces and 3 puzzles later we were quite satisfied with ourselves.
[I forgot how much I love putting puzzles together!]
Our explorations were lucky enough to find some of the Northwest wildlife...
Kurt & Lisa joined us late Saturday night and we spent Sunday hiking to the Fort and along the beach [and helping us finish the ridiculous candy puzzle]. A few crazy rounds of Strut, good food and plenty of fresh air.
And of course we couldn't miss the sunrises and sunsets.
