--Day 3--

I was not super motivated for my rice and beans last night, but when I walked in the door Nick had baked the rice, black beans and lentils in bright red juicy bell peppers, added lots of lime juice and topped with avocado and cilantro. Woah that was delicious and filling!

Today I forgot to bring more frozen berries to work so my protein shake was lacking some flavor -- but still filling.

I also wanted to mention that this is not just about the food we're eating but also paying attention to the other products and toxins we come in contact with everyday. We're using an organic lavender shea butter bar soap. Oh my goodness it is HEAVENLY! It smells so lovely (but not so strong afterward so that Nick can still use it...) And I have strayed away from bar soap because I think it makes my skin all tight and feel like I never showered in the first place, but this stuff makes my skin super soft and it's lovely thick creamy suds. I may be hooked. However, I am not sure where it came from!! It was a gift and I can't find the label...sigh.

I've also switched to Crystal Essence Chamomile & Green Tea all natural deodorant and have stepped back from my Clinical Strength anti-perspirant (aluminum chloride) deodorant (GASP!!) I was a bit wary because I hate sweating and seem to do so a lot...which is embarrassing. So I was afraid I would be wearing cover-up jackets for the next 15 days but so far I love it and have had no problems, in fact it's been better!! ...I really hope this continues. Plus I really like how this one smells and can apply it at any time (whereas the strong stuff is once a day and you're done...even if you feel like you need to 'freshen up'). And it was way cheaper...bonus!

No headache today, a bit more energy and overall feeling great!
