Boots On...Cutest Kid Ever!
This has got to be the cutest kid ever...
And the best part, Randy Houser got ahold of this video and decided to make it a part of his music video which you can check out here: http://www.contactmusic.com/videos.nsf/stream/randy-houser-boots-on
Well, the sun is shining and I'm going out with my 'boots' on.

Happy Birthday Brie Bear!
Happy Birthday!
You were so willing to welcome me to this crazy place called SPU and my years here have been colorful ever since. Whether it was stealing your bed, locking you out or adventures with Herbert you showed me how to love life and always keep my head up. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!
You are the most determined and strong-willed woman I know and that is something I have always admired. I know that anything you set your heart to is achievable and worth the effort - you have such big dreams and goals and I can't wait to watch you make them happen. Thanks for inspiring me!
Most of all, being around you just fills me up with joy. Our laughter never ends, even when there's tears. Adventures seem to follow us and you bring spontaneity and excitement to the everyday routine. From our duck collection to crazy picture taking to eating ice cream and laying on the beach...your my best friend and I'd be lost without you! Thanks for always being there!

Love,
J-Bean

Sun therapy
<3 all the sunshine this weekend
We sat in the sun Saturday and watched the boats sail by
Eating with friends at Olive Garden...bread sticks yummm!
Eventually saw Star Trek after theater-hunting [so good btw]
Kept trying on clothes *ahem* with Brie at Target...a few wardrobe troubles...
Ended with Survivor finale...which, I was quite satisfied with, I might add.
Nothing better than a girl's night in watching a chick flick and painting our nails.
Doodled on Nick's feet...he's so patient.
Sat outside The Teacup sipping "Walk in the Park" tea, catching up with lovely Laura.
How did you spend yours?

The time has come...
For one, it was quite long and it's been left to grow since I came to college. But I liked it long, it had been a while since I'd had longer hair. And I was enjoying it.
But then it kept getting in the way, and being zipped in my jacked, and caught in everything (including seat belts and car doors grabbing and tugging) driving me crazy and it just simply had to go. I was also inspired by Greta's blog about cutting hair and her great reminder that, it is just hair. And, surprise, it will grow back if you positively can't stand the new do!
So, appointment booked and nervous to see my locks go, I entered 7 Salon , which is an experience in itself! This salon is not just any salon, it doesn't smell like a salon, nor look like one: it's huge and chic. They hand you a robe to change into, give complimentary drinks (want a latte? No problem, their in-house barista would love to whip something up for you!) Not to mention they have their own D.J.
So, 12 inches later, I feel fresh. Like this is just what I needed. Indeed, hair is just hair and it will grow again - but I feel so energized now. Like I needed that big change to get things rolling again. (And the pampering at the salon wasn't so bad either!)

O Happy Day
1. A cup of tea and a good book
2. Singing along to favorite songs
3. Organizing
4. Dipping my toes in the ocean
5. Laughter that makes my stomach hurt and tears pour
6. Falling asleep to the sound of rain
7. Finding something you thought was lost forever
8. A good Monte Cristo
9. Road trips - windows down, hand out, sunglasses on, singing our favorite songs
10. Looking at art, pictures, photography - I get lost in them.
Inspired by Allie's question: What makes you terribly happy?

White Magic
The gentle, subtle smell of sweetness.
I love it.
The Jasmine flower only opens at night, and tightly closes before sleepy eyes squint at the morning sunshine drawing them into day. A midnight walk turns into a delightful dance of the sense. Secret pockets of aroma overwhelm - their white faces peering out into the dark.
Jasmine calms the emotions, it revitalizes and restores the balance of energy.
In China, it's seen as a symbol of feminine sweetness and beauty.
Deep affection, happiness, elegance
It's sweet breathe encouragesconfidence
optimism
euphoria
cheerfulness
From timid jasmine buds,
